I've wanted to paint a scene like this for years, but only recently felt like I had the skills needed to tackle it. I worked on it off and on for about two months, and I think it turned out pretty cool! This scene is based off Lord of the Rings, the Return of the King. I will also be painting two more pieces showing what comes next in this scene after the Nazgúl attacks King Theoden. :)
