Food description!!!  Starting from top left: seasoned bean sprouts (콩나물무침), seasoned spinach (시금치나), spicy peppers with anchovies (꽈리고추멸치무침), pickled radish (단무지무침), sticky rice (찹쌀밥), beef noodle soup (고기국수), yogurt drink! (요구르트), green tea seasoned roasting seaweed (녹차김)

The yakult is only served some days

It's a high school

It's a private school (not in the way American private schools work, the funding just comes from different sources so students still get in for free)

Students pay nothing! (Teachers pay $3-4)

Even though it's a private school, students do not pay tuition or anything like that. Students only get in based on if they are in that school's area.

Banchan is the Korean word for side dish

Most of the lunches are around 800-900 calories

I'm not sure where you can buy the tray from in your country. I recommend online

I don't think the color green is allowed in an American school lunch.
