I'm genuinely curious why so many newly self-published writers post about their work in /r/pics.
When i check their other recent posts, they virtually never seem to post in subs like /r/writers, /r/writing, /r/books, etc. Those are popular, active subs, and would seem a very appropriate place to share their achievements.

Congrats! This is a really hard thing to do. Also, just in case no one's ever told you this, you have one hell of a magnetic smile. :)
How did you end up breaking the block? Just in case there's any aspiring writers here, maybe they could use the same tricks or some helpful advice?
