My wife and I decided to spend a weekend at a hotel in Dallas a while back. We didn't know until we were checked in, but it just so happened to be hosting a QAnon convention that weekend. The one where Michael Flynn said the US should have a coup.
There was a pretty nice restaurant in the hotel where my wife and I went to eat one evening. The hostess led us through the main restaurant to a back room to be seated, probably assuming that because we were staying at the hotel and white, we were with the group. Everyone in the room was wearing red hats and wearing other MAGA / QAnon things.
My wife immediately asked the hostess to be seated elsewhere and said, a little loudly, that "these are not our people."
The hostess actually seemed to really appreciate that and seated us at a nice table and they gave us a couple free drinks with our dinner for not being pieces of shit.
