One of the most surreal experiences of my life was during a joint exercise with the Air Force.
A bunch of us were sitting on the flight line doing our pretend war thing and one of these just seemed to appear out of nowhere. They are bigger than you expect. Coming towards us it was silent. It cruised over us like the shadow of death and then some dude in a jeep pulled up, waved his hand and said, "You're all dead, lie down."
Spookiest shit ever have a building sized machine just appear out of nowhere.
