I know how to tie a tie, but I love it when my mother does it for me. I just feel so young when she does it and I patiently wait like a big "little" kid
I had an experience like this once. I was in a college classroom early one morning getting ready to speak to a class when some lady came in asking if anyone could help a guy tie his tie. I was wearing a suit that morning so I said sure, and then I took him into a bathroom with me so that I could walk him through it in front of a mirror. The kid had a job interview at the school that morning and wanted to make a good impression. I showed him how to tie a proper Windsor knot. It was great seeing him light up once he saw himself in the mirror wearing a suit and tie.
