I’ve had the same surgery as your daughter. I’m a 39 year old dude. Life is good and the surgery really was the best thing for me. Good luck for her recovery.
Make sure she gets out of bed multiple times a day and walks around if the pain is tolerable. I was 13 when I had mine was corrected and I I wish I would have done more PT from home.

This is every American’s dream. I’m glad that Blue Cross covered most of it. I hope your daughter heals well.
