I used to work as a freelance A/V tech at the British museum, once they got me in doing a job that took only a couple of hours in the evening and then said I could go home even though I was booked until 11pm, this was around 8pm, I asked if I could stay and they shrugged and said “sure if you want!” So I spent an evening in the deserted museum with all its wonders all for myself, was magical, spent probably half an hour admiring the Rosetta Stone alone in complete silence, I’ll never forget that night.
