Earlier this year I bought a new RAV4 from this dealership. They advertised it for something like $28k online. I call in to make sure it was right and they said yes. I come in, they give me all the paperwork and it comes out to like $39k. Luckily I got the online price quoted and sent to me in an email. Even then it took a lot of back and forth before we finally ended on the advertised price. And they don’t tell you about all the “options” that are automatically included on EVERY vehicle they sell there. Non refundable, you can not remove them. So, not optional. Throwing an additional $6-8k onto every vehicle and not showing the customer until you’re about to sign. I threatened to walk away several times during negotiations and kind of wished I wouldn’t have purchased the car just on principle. I ended up getting the car for the price I was told but it took so much time and negotiating. This place definitely scams people every day. Needless to say, I will not be returning there ever again. They also own the Subaru right next door where I would bet anything the same exact shitty sales tactics are used. If you live in the Bay Area, do not ever go here. You will not leave happy.
