Lest we forget, Steve Bannon was arrested aboard a Chinese billionaire's yacht for running a scam where he solicited donations from rubes to build Trump's wall. One of Trump's last acts in office was to pardon him and several other allies. Bannon immediately began communicating with Qanon followers and Oath Keeper groups about the upcoming electoral vote tally on Jan 6.
Any of what I just typed would be a white hot political scandal burning for months or years in a normal timeline. Unfortunately we all forgot about it because none of this was even the twentieth craziest thing to happen in 2020.
