5 years ago I was panhandling and barely scratching together our next meal.

We managed to never fall into the drugs all around us.

4 years ago I started the first real job I had in years... I'm still there today. I rented a small shithole apartment, the cheapest I could find. and have saved most of my extra money waiting for this day.

Making the Schrute family proud! Now get planting those beats.

Had to, sorry. Congrats! Sounds like quite the journey. If you don’t already I recommend small and large Flat head and Phillips screw drivers (4 total), A hammer. And a smaller socket wrench set - 18 or 32 piece. You’ll be surprised how often you’ll use these - sometimes for other reasons than their designed purpose!

Learn to shop at old people's estate sales. You can get anything from hammers to rakes to pots and pans for cheap and usually better quality. Keep up the outside so the neighborhood stays strong. Your appearance means a lot to the neighbors home value. They do for you, you do for them. You'll be shocked at the value you can grow. Enjoy.
