Context. I'm a military veteran in the USA. Which gives me VA healthcare for life.

I pay a VERY small co-pay for specialist visits and meds. Otherwise, everything is free. No monthly premium.

The infrastructure for universal health care is already established. It can be expanded for everyone. And it should be.

My years of service doesn't make me any more special than anyone else. Everyone deserves this as a right.

They billed almost $13k but the VA was like nah this shit is over priced y'all getting $1.7k best offer take it or leave it
