r/pics has become a competition where people try to get away with posting something that arguably has a picture attached, but is in no way about the picture. I feel there's still room for growth though. Maybe a picture of a McD receipt and story about your kid getting lost in the ball bath? Your bland wallpaper with a thinly veiled ad for your painting business? A picture so ridiculously out of focus, we can't even tell it's a shot of a screen, with a question about setting focus on your phone?
