This has happened to me- as a man. Happened in River North; Chicago. it was a crew that would approach single guys, split a bottle of champagne, and then spike the champagne.
They were eventually caught after having robbed almost $100,000 from single guys.
We are the least likely to report anything, so the detectives thought they might have gotten much more than that.
Point is- good they are protecting customers. Sad that they have too... but After having experienced something similar the feeling of being violated is horrific.

Other bars and clubs should pick this trend up. It will at least deter the reoccurence of women's drinks being spiked.

I was once drugged at a bar. Not by a woman but by another man. Luckily I made it home safe, but barely. And I blacked out.
Funny thing is, it wasn't a club or a real bar. It was the bar at a fine dining restaurant.
