Grid systems are great. For those who don’t know, the angled streets are generally the oldest ones, before the grid system took over.
Also look at that big long beautiful lakeshore, accessible to all. 22 miles of lakeshore parks.
On the left is “Goose Island,” an artificial island between the river and the canal.
This is a view towards the richest part of the city, the North Side, with many multi-million dollar homes. But there are more affordable places to live as well.
