When I was six my mom, sister, and I lived with my mom’s dad. He liked taking my sister and I across the country road to the neighbors to walk around her property. She didn’t live there so she liked us going and making sure everything was fine from time to time, and as adventurous little kids we loved it. One day we are walking and come upon what my grandpa calls a flower patch, but they weren’t any we had ever seen. He insists my little sister pick a few for our mom because it’s her favorite. I remember my sister being so happy to give my mom her favorite flower. Oh my mom was so pissed but my grandpa thought it was the funniest thing.
