Fun fact, when you look at patterns (like the brick pattern behind the kitty) your brain fills the pattern in while you’re scanning it, especially if you are scanning it from left to right (if you are used to reading left to right, for Arabic speakers and other right to left readers it’s the opposite). So while our eyes may “see” something that doesn’t fit into a pattern, our brain simply fills it in anyway. One way to combat this is by scanning in the opposite direction that you are used to reading. Cute kitty btw!
