Worth mentioning that the zoo has 3 areas, this was supposedly in the worst one (the 3rd) and they've also put out information in the park and on their website about this. Think it blew up cuz a kid got scared and the mother had NOT paid attention to the information?
I see they're at it again. 28 years ago I was there, looking forward to seeing their pirate show. When a pirate ship sailed past us, one of the scariest pirates pointed at me and yelled something along the lines of "I'll keelhaul you, you scurvy landlubber!". Being an actual landlubber, 5 year old me got pretty freaked out, and I was traumatized for years.
