when i grew up in Queens/Brooklyn, NYC — my mom used to take us to pizza hut back in the day when it was served on cast iron pans on the stand
i got no issues with what most of the USA calls normal pizza. NYC pizza is delicious but it's so basic to claim that it is the only pizza worthy of praise
