Mouth cancer showed up out of nowhere last week, we were scheduled for end of the week, but her quality of life deteriorated much more rapidly, so we gave her her favorite food, let her play outside for hours and now are at the vet to say goodnight.

Cancer is the worst. I’m sorry for your loss.

Maybe you can take comfort in knowing you made the hardest decision during your time together out of love. You are a great fur parent.

Know that your kitty wouldn’t trade any of your time together for anything.

The next months are going to be tough but try to remember the good times. Perhaps ask family and friends to send photos to help remind you of forgotten memories. Your house will be a little quieter now and your heart certainly more achy but you will learn to move on with the memory of your time together.
