What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access? “The deployed version is content complete and bug free. So if you buy it today, you will get the full game !

We plan to stay in early access only for a short period of time. Our goal is to gather your feedback to balance the game systems and difficulty for a final release. Please feel free to submit your issues and requests in the designated forums.

We hope you will enjoy our game and stay with us for future updates !

The NERO dev team” Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access? “We expect that the game will be in Early Access state between 1-2 month. This will give us enough time to refine the already existing gameplay systems based on the player feedback we will receive.” How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version? “The full version of NERO will be a more balanced experience then it already is, based on the community feedback we will receive:

Other additions and optimization will include:

- Refined gameplay balancing for all existing systems.

- Finalized introduction to the story and setting.

- Texts of lore and background information.

- Credits” What is the current state of the Early Access version? “All core gameplay systems and content for NERO are done and playable !

We hope to gather feedback that we can use to finalize especially the enemy placement and overall balancing. While we still need to iron out some bugs and interface systems, players can already enjoy the full campaign:

- 9 maps with diverse environments and lightning and weather.

- Exiting Stealth and Third Person shooting gameplay with 3 difficulty levels.

- Stylish Sniper action and Bullet Time.

- Skill upgrade systems to deepen the favored gameplay.

- Mission score and ranking to ensure replayability.

- Fully voiced and subtitled story with ingame, cinematic and comic cutscenes.

- Hidden game objects for collecting story lore and bonus points to encourage exploration.

We are confident to have enough ´bang for the buck´ already to ask for a fair price. The overall playtime differs with the playstyle but we measured between 7-10 hours for ourself, but with the incentive to replay and master every map with a different difficulty to get the highest scores !” Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access? “We plan to have a discount of 10-15 % for the Early Access version. With this we hope to encourage more dedicated players to buy early on and build a community faster so we can get more valuable feedback faster to fine tune the final game.” How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process? “We will listen to all gameplay feedback because it is especially valuable to us!

We are a small team and don´t have access or can´t organize a lot of QA for testing. So we wish to find some dedicated players that want to help us making the best game that we can so everybody can enjoy it on full release.

In addition we want to build a community here for future projects while also experience in which ways people enjoy our game.”

That’s the character model from “Hunt the Freeman”, an infamously terrible game.
