Curious- are you by chance in touch with the NCDOT? You could be provided gloves, tools and trashbags for free and you register the area you/your team have volunteered to clean and the NCDOT comes out and picks up the (orange/blue) bags.
Also- if you can put City and State in your titles I can share your posts to NC group :]
