omg for a moment there from the smaller picture, I thought you were carrying a pair of heels! Like ya just been out for the night and saw a plane on the way home and thought, ah yeh I'll give it a go.
My oldest sister's husband had his pilots license, and she learned to fly as well. The hands-down scariest flight I ever went on was the time she took our mother and me with her on a short trip to practice touch-and-goes at a small airport away from the city.
I have regularly flown commercial flights since early childhood. I am not afraid of flying. What scared me to death was knowing it was my sister at the controls!
Full props to her, she handled a tricky wind-shift when we arrived back at the big regional airport very well. But still. My sister...

My dad used to fly a Piper or a Sesna.
I grew up thinking he was a total bad ass, before I knew what a badass was.
You are also a badass.
