I love the contrast between the light and dark in this capture. My eye was first drawn to the stark whiteness of the centered buildings and I was struck with a sense of beauty and serenity like when a single beam of sunlight shines down on a location. That was before I looked upward and beyond into those smoke stacks. The emotional contrast hit me as noticeably as the contrast between the colors. Those stacks leave me feeling the churn of industry with it's grime and smoke and ultimate necessity to be able to create the things of beauty all around us. Really moving image.
