As If Things Couldn’t Get Any Worse for Humanity, Trump Is Reportedly “Laying the Groundwork” for a 2024 Run

Distressingly for the human race, almost every poll thus far shows that Trump has little to worry about in a Republican primary, Politico noted; additionally, given that the majority of the party lives in both awe and fear of him, most top candidates have said they won’t run against him. And should he decide to make the plunge, he’ll have plenty of cash on hand thanks in part to scamming his supporters. Asked during an interview with Fox Business’s Maria Bartiromo, who was once a respectable reporter, if he would be throwing his name in the ring, Trump claimed election laws prevented him from giving an answer. “The campaign finance laws, which are antiquated and stupid, okay? Stupid and corrupt in a way. They’re stupid. Doesn’t allow me to tell you that, okay? If I tell you that a whole host of things happen, which are bad. So I can't tell you. I can tell you this. I love our country and you’re going to be very happy,” Trump said.

Though deplatformed from Twitter and Facebook for spreading misinformation and sparking the Capitol riot that led to his historic second impeachment, Trump has remained the heart of the party and the most sought-after endorser in Republican primary politics. Now, instead of his flood of daily tweets, his leadership PAC sends out tweet-length statements, sometimes repeatedly in a day. The pace notably picked up in mid-August as Biden struggled to gain public approval for his handling of the U.S. exit from Afghanistan (Biden has said he was following Trump’s planned withdrawal), “he started bleeding, and Trump is like a shark. He smelled blood,” said one confidante with whom Trump has recently spoken.

As Politico notes, on the day Kabul fell to the Taliban, Trump made the rounds on cable news and conservative radio to claim he would have done a better job if he’d still be in office. (Trump, of course, cut a deal with the Taliban that many believe gave the group the upper hand and was largely to blame for the disastrous exit.)

While there are scores of reasons why Trump would very well be unsuccessful should he decide to run—and his running at the moment is in no way certain—The Guardian warns that that the prospect of him winning is not impossible and therefore should be taken seriously, given the nuclear-blast-level consequences of him becoming president again. Why is this clown still not in prison? What happened to all those investigations by the state of New York? Hurry the fuck up. Republicans don’t care about treason. They will vote for him anyway.

A run? I am wondering why he is still walking free...

He has to run. His entire MO is revenge and always has been.
