I worked at a hotel that has a 4 diamond rating, and the restaurant i worked in there was a fine dining setting. It was fancy as fuck, won awards, great chefs, and widely known in the area.
$14/hr and no tips for the cooks, and little to no chance for advancement in the ranks, and still had to pay for parking.
Who would keep showing up? Also forgot to mention the part where servers would make like 400 a night in tips, while making more than minimum wage.
