Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update Still Planned For 2021, First Expansion In Development

CD Project Red has shared a new update on the status of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 next-generation update confirming they are due out in Late 2021.

The developers shared a presentation with slides covering their financial results and had information on the release date of the new patches for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3. The presentation confirmed that these updates will be out in late 2021.

During the earnings call that was streamed live on the CD Projekt Red website, it was mentioned that while they are still planning to release these updates in late 2021, there is always the possibility that they could slip into 2022.

CD Projekt Red is also working on the first expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 although they haven’t shared details on when it will be released. They believe that there is long-term potential for this franchise so they are committed to making sure that any issue is resolved for it. They will continue to work on the game while in parallel working on multiple new projects.

I'd like to give Cyberpunk another shot. I've played maybe 20 minutes of the story.

I just can't get over how trash the open world AI is for a game that was released in 2020.
