Congrats! I work for a criminal defense attorney and as many can imagine, the majority of our clients are in court for non-violent drug offenses. There’s almost no help, especially if you don’t have insurance or loads of cash for treatment programs, yet so many people want help. Instead of treatment they receive shame and jail time and senseless fines and fees. It’s great to see you say you’re not ashamed. I’m grateful af to be here, there were definitely a few times I almost didn’t make it. So many aren’t as fortunate as I was.

i’m proud of you too! i lost my aunt to heroin when i was 14. overcoming such a struggle is no small accomplishment. congratulations!
