A couple in Colorado is suing a police officer who shot their puppy that later had to be euthanised after he initiated an encounter with the pair.

In June 2019, Loveland police officer Matthew Grashorn arrived in an empty car park, where Wendy Love and her husband were letting their three dogs run around and drink water.

Mr Grashorn calls the couple to call their dog off, which they do, and the dog obeys.

One of the couple’s other dogs, a 14-month-old Staffordshire terrier-boxer cross, Herkimer, leapt out of the truck and darted toward the officer.

In the video, the dog drops to the pavement instantly and Ms Love can be seen standing in shock in the moments after the shooting.

The couple is being represented in court by attorney Sarah Schielke, who has sued the Loveland police department twice in the last two years.

The officer has faced no disciplinary action for the shooting and has not responded to the lawsuit. »

As Harvard University’s new chief chaplain, Epstein will coordinate activities of over 40 chaplains from more than 20 different religious, spiritual and ethical traditions.

Although the appointment of an atheist as president of the university’s chaplains may seem unorthodox, many Harvard students attest to the influence that Epstein has had on them. »

They are certainly entitled to keep advocating nation-building, but they have no right to force working Americans to pay the price for their agenda.

A judge in Michigan has ordered a couple to pay $30,441 (£22,100) to their son, for throwing out his pornography collection.

US district judge Paul Maloney’s decision this week came eight months after David Werking, 43, won a lawsuit against his parents.

Werking said they had no right to throw out his collection of films, magazines and other items, which he said then was worth $29,000 (£21,500). »
