I'm not being a dick I swear. Please take this as kindly as possible and I hope your book and your career are successful. Now to the asshole question:

Why self-publish? My (now ex-)MIL self-published a book over a decade ago and because of that it carried a certain stigma with it. Is that stigma dead or going away? Hopefully. And if not, how do you handle that? Hopefully you don't care, because: fuck 'em. Good for you and best of luck.
