Years ago, I travelled to Italy. While walking around Rome, I noticed a woman, like this, who had her nose cut off. She was Middle Eastern and begging for money. I tried not to stare but I have never seen anything like it. It really brought home how lucky I was to be born in another part of the world.

Love to see her smiling in the second photo. I can't imagine coming back from this hell she must have gone through. Bet she's one strong ass woman.
