Where are Bush's neocons and generals who were going to obliterate, shock & awe the Taliban after they sheltered Osama Ben Ladden? I want them to look at these scared kids and realize how useless and wasteful their bravado was. It is a perfect time to quote the lead neocon, Dick Cheney: "We will be seen as liberators".
What bothers me most is that there's nothing I can do about it. I can write a strongly worded letter to my government and the idiot politicians who thought some police training would be good enough... And that's it. These people are fucked and we're looking at it from the sidelines. Not even saving the people (interpreters for instance) that helped our troops while out there.
