The Japanese team has heights ranging from 5'5" to 6'1" while Brazil ranges from 5'7" to 6'4". We're almost certainly looking at the shortest Japanese player compared to the tallest Brazilian player.
Update: I was using the current team stats, but this is an older photo, the heights for the teams are actually 5'3" to 6'1" for Japan, and 5'5" to 6'5" for Brazil.
Surprised noone has mentioned this yet, this picture is taken in 2014. The japanese setter Hitomi Nakamichi, 1,59m (5'3'') tall vs Brazil middle blocker Thaísa Menezes 1.96 m (6'5'').
