I've seen this anime before...the little one can jump ridiculously high, spike the ball with super human speeds and will ultimately teach the tall one to respect their opponents.
The Japanese team has heights ranging from 5'5" to 6'1" while Brazil ranges from 5'7" to 6'4". We're almost certainly looking at the shortest Japanese player compared to the tallest Brazilian player.
