If it isn’t to personal, may I ask how you went about escaping retail? What was only suppose to be a temporary job for became 10+ years in the retail biz. I’ve really been wanting out for awhile now. Burn out is real.
Pro tip from someone who left retail after 20 years for a desk. Your back is used to you standing. Find a way to stand more while working. Getting steps in is not as easy as it was in retail. Get up and move!
