The Opening Ceremony was great for needing to be reduced significantly given the pandemic.
But I do wish we could see at some point the show they originally had planned.
After Rio, we were getting promises that the Tokyo Olympics were looking at having huge animatronics and created shooting stars and even the whole intro at the Rio closing was about Mario.
Thanks for the good wishes! Addressing a couple questions, I'll be running the 100m dash on July 31st, 1135hrs Tokyo Time, representing American Samoa. Not expecting to make it out of the opening round, but I'm totally cool with that. If I'm lucky, I might challenge the fastest time for an ASA sprinter in the Olympic Games; a record which is over 20 years old.
I'll be trying to make the Winter Olympics in Beijing in my main sport, skeleton. I've got a Patreon set up if anyone is interested in more behind the scenes content.
