First time I hung a bird feeder, I was so happy to be visited by a beautiful pair of lesser goldfinches… then I realized I had really hung a hawk feeder.
Cute, but don't do that again. The hawk doesn't hunt because he's an ass. It hunts because it needs to eat or feed its chicks. Having compassion is okay but it should not interfere with nature. And no, that's not the same as saving your pet or a family member from a wild animal if someone is thinking on saying that.
