I was in a car accident and the bill for the ambulance to drive me 1 mile was over $1,200 AFTER insurance! If I had known that, I would have waited for an Uber as I wasn’t bleeding to death or anything that serious. I did need to go to the hospital but I would have been fine if I’d taken an Uber. Ugh, America health care needs to change, and this is from someone with excellent healthcare coverage.
