Amazing how all these businesses think they're so entitled to cheap labor.

It’s interesting to see that Wisconsin, one of the leading states in the “right to work” wedge, is having trouble with labor shortages. The race to the bottom has made working unsustainable.

As someone who worked in kitchens for more than a dozen years, with a family member who owns a restaurant, I can confidently say staffing has been an issue for quite some time.

Covid amplified it because the people who were in it that were traveling the path of least resistance, GOT OUT.

"What do you mean I get weekends and evenings off?? VISION AND DENTAL?! IS THIS PUNK'D? WHERE'S ASHTON?!"

The business model for the food industry can go fuck itself, and a good percentage of these owners are dicks. MY FAMILY MEMBER INCLUDED.
