Chute dans le Tour de France : la spectatrice responsable placée en garde à vue

Une spectatrice a fait chuter de nombreux coureurs lors de la première étape du Tour de France 2021 samedi 27 juin.

Samedi 26 juin, une spectatrice qui agitait sa pancarte lors de la première étape du Tour de France a causé la chute de dizaines de coureurs dans le peloton. Le directeur adjoint du Tour, Pierre-Yves Thouault, avait alors annoncé que la direction du Tour portait plainte contre la responsable. Celle-ci a été interpellée et placée en garde à vue à Landerneau, selon nos informations.

Samedi, en milieu d'après-midi, à 45 kilomètres de l'arrivée de la première étape Brest et Landerneau, une spectatrice qui voulait montrer sa pancarte en carton à la télévision s'est déportée sur la chaussée. Résultat : le coureur allemand de Jumbo-Visma, Tony Martin, a percuté la pancarte avant d'emmener à terre tout le peloton. Blessé, l’Allemand Jasha Sütterlin (DSM), a dû abandonner.

Dimanche, la gendarmerie du Finistère a annoncé l'ouverture d'une enquête judiciaire pour "blessures involontaires avec incapacité n'excédant pas trois mois par violation manifestement délibérée d'une obligation de sécurité ou de prudence". Un appel à témoins avait été lancé pour retrouver la spectatrice.

Celle-ci risque pour les faits qui lui sont reprochés une amende de 1.500 euros. En revanche, la peine serait alourdie si le coureur allemand qui a abandonné décidait de porter plainte à son tour.

Aren’t the racers far more pissed at the governing body and media itself for continuing to allow these racing conditions?

Like that chick was being dumb, but bound to happen given the rules…media and officials doing a great job shifting the blame to this one individual
