OK, so people collect stuff. Comics, glass statuettes, lamps, whatever. You do what brings you joy. The only thing that irritates (edit) me about beanie babies, is how people were convinced they would make serious money on them. I worked a temp warehouse job during the 90s. People would leave work when they heard a new beanie baby was released, and really thought of it as a serious investment.
