Trying to be efficient with my client of the moment (IT analyst...) feels like swimming against a river's flow. At least, working from home, I didn't have to try to concentrate while they were chatting about their past weekend... for hours... on Wednesday...
I am one of those "essential workers" that needed to show up. Commute was better, and zoom meetings ment writing necessary E-mails when the topic didn't pertain to me. Less nonessential foot traffic in the warehouse made material movement easier and safer. In some ways my coworkers absence will be missed.
