That's an ADA case

In the US, That's an ADA case. (This is Canada)

Take them to court if they don't fix it

The bump alone isn’t the only crappy design. The doors open out, so when you are over there pressing the button, the door opens and seals you off from the entrance.

I work with disabled people and unfortunately I see shit like this all the time. Ramps that are too narrow or too steep, buttons that are too high up to reach, elevators that are out of order and nobody cares to fix because the stairs are right there!! Handicap bathrooms that are used to store stuff in, or that are too cramped to fit a wheelchair in, or that have the sink and/or toilet paper holder at inaccessible height. The lack of accessibility is what hinders many disabled people's lives to the point that they need a personal care worker to assist them with everything even when they'd be perfectly capable of living a normal independent life if public spaces were actually accessible.
