I lost a friend two days ago when her 4th stage cirrhosis blood vessels around her esophagus (varices) ruptured and she bled out. 46 years old and couldn’t stay sober. I’m 23 years sober this year, I’ve been happily married for 21 years, own my own house, have no debt of any kind and it’s all gone in an instant if I start drinking. Keep it up. It’s worth it, even the crazy shit. You are worth it.
