What's actually interesting to note in his dissent is that he says that schools have the authority and responsibility to effectively "parent" these children and punish them based on some set of value (where that set of values comes from is left ambiguous).
Aren't the conservatives the folks who say that schools shouldn't be teaching kids values? That's the job of the family?
Gorsuch is the only strict textualist on the bench who actually simply reads the law and rules based on what it says and not what he thinks based on what it says.
