Backstory: I bought a 2-acre trashed forest. Every week I clean a little up and share what I find. Dug the cauldron up yesterday. Currently cleaning it via electrolysis.

Hard to tell from the picture but is that worth restoring to at least a plant holder? Would be pretty bad ass

Wow that is cool ! Until WW2 cast iron washpots like this one were extremely valuable wedding gifts to new married couples. They were used for everything. Washing clothes, making soap, scalding chickens and hogs, they were sometimes the most valuable possession a family had.
