Don't if McDonalds does that in US but in Denmark they also offer tution free education both in-house and at upper secondary institutions

It's not even sure that those 27 cents are due to all those benefits either. It could just be regional fluctuations in price. The price of a Big Mac is after all not a universal constant.

McD's workers in the UK get most of this as well (not quite as many benefits as Denmark but not far off) and a Big Mac here is 39 cents cheaper than the US.

ETA: I've added this elsewhere when I've been more specific with the prices but people are whinging I've not put it here also.

Looking deeper these figures are 2008. The point still stands though. Then prices are on a rough par regardless of whether employee benefits are offered or not.
