Peru has the highest per capita covid death rate in the world. 5600 per million people. Brazil's is 2300. With the way things are going, the fact that the virus is spreading unmitigated in Brazil, and that the delta variant will likely do the same. If Brazil gets hit as hard as Peru, expect 1M dead in Brazil. Considering that more deadly variants are spreading and Brazil seems to be beyond counter measures, I expect this to happen.
