Don’t rock the boat fool. That is a standardized price tag on new games regardless of the money spent to develop and produce them.

You want to keep that structure.

Kind of weird to use Steam as the example because they are the cheapest place to get digital games my a huge margin. Sure they’re $60 at launch, but they’re also often $12 on a Steam sale a year later.

It’s simple on why it’s the same price. Let’s say I own a store that sells video games. It would be pointless for me to buy multiple physical copies when people can go online and buy it for cheaper. So I strike a deal with these companies to match the price online to what we have in the store or we don’t carry it. Gaming companies want as much reach as they can get, so they agree to our demands of same price.
