I’m 63. I had a job in high school (1970’s) working for a guy in his 80’s. He still worked every day. His first job was delivering mail in a horse and buggy. The defining experience of his life was the Great Depression. That, more than all the technological, political and social change was the one thing he couldn’t wrap his head around. He was a lonely old miser because he lived in fear it would happen again.
